So me and my 2 friends were a group of 3, military grade-equipped bandits looking for some fun pvping in the southern areas. We had just finished checking Komarovo (I think that is where we were) with the intent of heading to cherno. As we were passing Belota one of my friends (our leader... sort-of) said that we should check the airfield and we all agreed. So we were moving down the road and we turn left and head into that little line of trees just before the large open field and then the airfield. After pulling out our binoculars and scouting for a few minutes, we decided to move. About 50m into the field we hear a giant BANG BANG. Now this was so loud it sounded like a Barret 50. Cal going off 100m from us, we all went prone and hid. After about 10 seconds I look to the left and yell "Holy shit there is a survivor right there!!!" By the time my two friends said "Where?!" I had already opened fire. As soon as he heard the shots he dashed back into the treeline, across the road and into that sort of forest sort of field part. As he was dashing I managed to shoot him a few times with my M4, causing him to die. We check out the body and he has a double barreled shotgun. We move to the tree line just behind where he was standing and we see a dead survivor. Oh! That's who he shot! We all said. So we move about halfway across the field when one of my friends sees a cow and yells OH MY GAWD IT'S A MOO-MOO!!, we turn to the right and see a genuine black and white cow close to the densly forested hill. We all go sprinting towards it. Once we get there we all sit down and have a (quote my friend) tea-party with it. After about 30 seconds with the Moo-Moo we hear a shot ring out. My friend (the sort-of leader) instantly dies, then another bang, I collapse and get the screen YOU ARE DEAD. My friend made the spit-second decision to log off when the first of us died. After about 5 minutes we see a chat message from the admin clan. Dear Phil (Me) and crew: That's what you get for messing with BLU (Their clan: Bandits League United). It turns out the guy that I shot after he killed someone with the double barrel shotgun was an admin XD. So after another 20 minutes of trying to get a good spawn I spawn on a tiny lump in the land right next to the hill where our attackers shot us from. I move to the top of the lump, lie down and see two people moving back and forth from our bodies (no doubt transporting the loot) After 10 minutes of watching them and a bit of dramatics that I don't really want to go over me and our sort-of leader meet up. After going to our bodies and making sure everything was safe, we tell our other friend (who still has military grade gear) to log on. We search our bodies and notice that they have taken our guns and ammo but no gear or food. They even left the pair of NVGs I had!! So we take food, drinks and the best gear that we had. My friend had scavenged a shotgun in belota after he spawned with 2 rounds in it and he gave it to me, then took the DMR with 3 mags that our military-grade gear friend had in his backpack. Then I lead the group up into the hills where I saw the looters going and we searched for tents where they may have transported the loot to. Nothing... So we decide to go to cherno to get some decent supplies and then head back to NWAF as usual. We get to cherno and guess who is there slaughtering fresh players. None other than two snipers from BLU. After figuring out that they were on the roof of the building that was beside the military tent hospital thingy in cherno we move up the main street taking cover as we go and zig-zagging. We finally get to the workshed behind the stone wall across the street from where they were when BANG, one of us got hit. He went unconscious and I dragged him to cover and epi-penned him (had to because he had the military-grade gear and was the only one with any hope of matching our enemies.) After a long and desperate gunfight, in which I killed one of them, our leader died, and I died our other friend logged off, we swapped servers, met up and began anew.

But that admin-clan for sure acts lame if it was like you described.

Yeah we had all made a pact not to log off no matter what, which is why I took the 2nd bullet. I'm not sure why he logged off, I guess the fear just got to him or something. It was also strange because when we went to search for the clan they had just... dissappeared. There was a little 2 building ranch a little past the hill they were on and we searched it and found a makarov with 8 mags around it in the main building so we figured maybe they grabbed our stuff and booked it, looting along the way

I've only had DayZ for about two weeks now and today I had by far my most epic day. Before I start the story it's worth pointing out that one member in our group of three is a little more reckless than the other two of us. While we're crouch running through the treeline he's sprinting around in the middle of the field next to us. In this case his behavior, well... I won't ruin it for you.

Anyway, that was exactly what was happening at the start of this story. My friend and I were hugging the treeline crouch running and the third member of our group is out running across the field to the next treeline we plan on hopping over to. No sooner is he halfway across the field than we hear him say, "Shit, I hear a helicopter." My friend and I still in the treeline immediately drop into prone and hold completely still. My other friend, with no other viable option makes straight for the other treeline. Our hearts stop when the helicopter starts to lower its altitude over our position. At this point I'm readying my DMR, thinking that I may be able to snipe out the pilot or hit the gunners before they even touch down. I decide to wait for a better shot. My close-by friend has an AK74 Kobra and my more reckless buddy has an M4A1 CCO.

This is where things start getting a little weird. First of all because the players flying the chopper seem to have a little trouble landing. And second of all because we didn't know that our reckless friend was at the other parallel treeline across the field (we thought he was still in ours.) Of course our friend was just over the crest of a small hill, so we couldn't see him, and this was where the helicopter landed as well. The three other players all climbed out of the chopper and told our reckless friend that they were friendly. He takes this time to inform us that they are all wearing ghillie suits and surrounding him. My other friend and I take this as our cue because we realize they have not seen us yet, so we start moving to try to get a better shot, moving very carefully in prone as we go. By the time it clicks in my head that there is no chance in hell that these guys are friendly given their equipment and helicopter, not to mention their sudden urge to land upon sighting a seemingly alone player, they shoot my friend that they had surrounded.

He's pretty upset because we've all had our characters alive for almost a week, but my other friend and I are ready avenge him. About two minutes pass and I have a much better position, which includes a full view of their chopper. I decide at this moment that they are only getting that chopper back in the air over my dead body. I see that one guy is sitting in the gunner seat closest to me and my trigger finger gets the better of me. One loud bang, and one glorious gush of blood from that bush head of his. Now the other guys know that it is on.

I hold my position while they try and rally from their confusion. My friend meanwhile has pushed up very far and has one of them in his sights. He sounds confident that he is going to take him out through teamspeak so my heart, which was pounding ravenously at this point, begins to warm. Another gunshot rings out and I am promptly informed that a second attacker is dead.

The final one in his desperation makes a break for the chopper and unfortunately I have no view of the pilot seat, so I start taking pot shots at him to try to scare him out. It's no good and the rotors are beginning to go faster. Neither my friend or I are sure if we can damage the chopper in any way with my DMR or his AK74 Kobra, but we continue shooting nonetheless. Either we had done significant damage to the chopper as it got into the air or we had killed their only pilot earlier in the fight. The chopper begins to swerve around violently and eventually crashes to the resounding sound of the most glorious explosion I've ever seen.

The attack being thwarted, we move in to loot the bodies and these guys are loaded. I'm talking NVGs, silenced M9s, and rangefinders on all of them. One for each us ;). There was even an AS50 on the guy I shot (Glad I killed him first.) Anyway I'm not sure if these guys are duping or what, that kind of equipment on one character is still believable but on all three? I don't know, I wont judge. Regardless, we now all got our NVGs legitimately :).

We eventually leave the server when I start to suspect that they are cheating. And when I say that I suspected they were cheating I mean that not long after this fight is over we hear another helicopter coming our way. We got lucky enough the first time, not going to continue to kick the hornet's nest if these guys were cheating...

tl;dr - Epic tactical skirmish. Ends with epic helicopter crash.

My char was 22 days old, every gear imaginable. I log into a field between Polana and Gorka and i see this car come driving down the hill from the side of berezino. Im thinking to shoot or just dodge, i cant decide. My legs freeze up and i just stand there.... And he runs me over.. I think my char had become suiicidal after being alive for so long.

Not long ago i logged onto a server i had never joined before knowingly equipped with an m107 with many mags and a PDW sidearm, i also had a dmr with more clips in my bag and every utility, all of a sudden after sitting in a loading screen, The game prompted me to select my gender, so i did and spawned fresh in Elektro with none of my previous gear. After relogging to another server i discovered i was safely back at my camp with all of my stuff, not combat exciting, but heart pounding none the less.

I'm not going to quote your entire post Thievery, but you misspoke a bit. I actually had an M4A3 CCO, not an AK74 Kobra. ;)
