box of matches limitless?

So I started over. My plan is to gtfo of Cherno and head for the hills. Ive picked up all I need to hunt. Im out of my most hated city. But the box of matches are limitless right? They seem to have a tough spawn % chance. Im not going to cook some meat and find out it is only good for one use? I don't think I can survive north if I have to get a box of matches everytime I need to eat.

All of the items on your toolbet have unlimited uses, for now. So you're good. You really should have used the wiki or something though! :)

Thanks. Yeah I had a look at the wiki, but it doesn't seem to specify that its limitless... at least not on the box of matches information page...
