Hackers on US 249

[McGEE]BruceLee has hacked this server several times. Me and my friends were the only one when we were killed out of no where (no gun shots or anything). Other hacks included breaking of legs and other shenanigans.

CCC Barnabus is my friend and we just play a lot. I assure you he is NOT the hacker. We are waaaaayyyy too dumb to do any of those things like thunderdome and all that. Everytime a patch comes out it takes me like 2 hours just to figure out how to get the game working again lol. Theres 5 guys in my playgroup and we don't have any reason to hack. Last night Barnabus and i were in elektro and some "hacker" was sticking flares to the wall of every building we went in. Made it a little difficult to sneak around but it wasnt us doing it.

We were just on (TATER SALAD, BARNABUS, etc.) and got killed in the middle of nowhere with 8 people on. Then a guy teleported us to eachother and gave us stuff. Then he followed us around and told us that Mcgee Bruce Lee was the hacker. The guy teleporting us said he was trying to "help" people that had been killed by hackers. So i second the notion that its mcgee bruce lee.

Hey do you guys play alot on this server, me and my friends just had the time of our lives fighting a clan in electro, i think they were rctl or something like that but you were shooting 203's and blowing up buildings that we were in and we ended up shooting down your chopper but just wanted to say who ever that was great times and i hope you get this one way or anther. we had a blast

I'm "The Real Barnabus" and I'm on a lot because I work from home so that's probably why I'm always on when there is hacking activity. I've died to the (or a) hacker 3 times in the past week or so, along with Beez and a few other friends.

I've noticed the past few days haven't been nearly as bad, not sure if it's successful banning or just luck but it's definitely more fun when I don't have to worry about being teleported or killed out of nowhere. Our group really likes this server so we're happy to see that the hacking is improving (knock on wood).

I'm not sure if there is any question still about anyone in our group (Barnabus, The Real Barnabus, Rhi, Derek, TATER SALAD) being the hacker but let me just say for the record that hacking a game like this completely defeats the purpose and we are vehemently opposed to hacking, duping, alt+f4ing and all that nonsense. The whole reason this mod is fun is because you can lose everything at any moment; that's what mainly sets it apart from every other pvp shooter out there.

On an unrelated note, to the people who killed me while I was trying to take their bus yesterday: I knew buses were slow, but I didn't realize they were that slow <_< Have fun with your new sniper rifle!

Myself and a couple of friends were on this server yesterday when we were set upon by a hacker with username "Mike". We were in the tree line up from the NE airstrip when a dude in a gillie suit appeared behind us. I went prone behind a rock wall with eyes on him. Took him out and came up "Mike has died", same time he hit me , i was unconscious bleeding, i came to and was able to bandage myself with 54 blood left. Then my friend was shot. Then I was shot again, I could of alt-f4 but that is the cowards way out. We thought there might be two of them, a third friend was running to another tree line when another guy in a guille suit appeared behind him, my friend shot him a few time and he died also which then also came up "Mike has died". My friend then lost control of his character and dropped dead. At the time it was my oldest and best equipped character. I also really like this server but am afraid to go back.

I have also come across a helpful invis hacker on this server after being teleported to the debug forest we logged in to 249 as it was night and we had NV. We finally made it to civilisation when we heard shots. I global spoke asking them to please not kill us that we had been hacked and were trying to get our way back. Then there was a strange voice and a car appeared in front of us. We used it to drive out, we were then teleported to NW airfield where we left the car and ran.

Came across the "helpful hacker" again today. I was being way too careless in NWAF and was killed, when I spawned again I was next to a guy in a guille. He put me in a guille and spawned in an ACOG for me. I picked it up and shot him with it but he didn't die. At that point I figured I might as well see where this goes so I just ran around him like an idiot for a while then shot a couple more clips into him. He then teleported me sky high along with a lot of cows (they had parachutes though) and a bunch of other players. Upon respawning, he teleported me to a field with some of his friends. They were trying to talk to me but I just hopped around and acted like an ass. When they were alt+tabbing out to spawn in a helo I took a sachel charge from one of their packs and detonated it. .We all died. I got one of the hacker names: KrispyKreme2012. I know they can spoof names and player IDs so it's not that helpful but it sure was fun. They logged out of US 249 shortly after that.

TLDR: to the "friendly" hacker(s): The only thing I want less than your help is for you to keep playing DayZ.

KrispyKreme2012 is not a hacker, he was also teleported to the area high up into the sky but survived the fall by disconnecting before he hit the ground. I know him in person and he told me all about it.
