Hey man I'm CST too, have end-game weapons/equipment and over 4k humanity (was 5297 this morning but I had to defend myself while playing today). I'm definitely down to group up and can help you get on your feet and self-sufficient. I'm currently on Day 9 with my current life which isn't anything incredible but it's respectable. I'm ex-military in real life so I can hold my own in tight situations and know about squad tactics and all that, although I find that playing in squads is way more fun with people you have a rapport with. Hey all trying to get a group together to mess around with tonight. I'm usually a cautious player in that I don't go charging into high-risk areas guns ablaze, but at the same time this isn't the type of game where you're rewarded for sitting back and doing nothing. I generally leave people alone unless they are compromising my position/mission or acting hostile. I don't really care about skill level, if you're new I can definitely show you the ropes, if you're a veteran than you can show me a thing or two. Hey all sorry my mic crapped out tonight and I'm just not down to play multiplayer without being able to communicate. I'm gonna grab a new one in the morning, then I'll add you guys up, kick some ass and take some names!

Getting bored running around by myself. Some friends got me into DayZ a couple months ago but they don't have time to play anymore and I'm tired of just running back and forth accumulating gear that may never get used. I have a decent load out and if things go well I'm willing to share of course. Just looking for some fun casual play, I play cautiously but am not really afraid to die. I find playing by myself I'm generally on the not-so-fun side of those oh sh*t moments. Came across the "helpful hacker" again today. I was being way too careless in NWAF and was killed, when I spawned again I was next to a guy in a guille. He put me in a guille and spawned in an ACOG for me. I picked it up and shot him with it but he didn't die. At that point I figured I might as well see where this goes so I just ran around him like an idiot for a while then shot a couple more clips into him. He then teleported me sky high along with a lot of cows (they had parachutes though) and a bunch of other players. Upon respawning, he teleported me to a field with some of his friends. They were trying to talk to me but I just hopped around and acted like an ass. When they were alt+tabbing out to spawn in a helo I took a sachel charge from one of their packs and detonated it. .We all died. I got one of the hacker names: KrispyKreme2012. I know they can spoof names and player IDs so it's not that helpful but it sure was fun. They logged out of US 249 shortly after that. TLDR: to the "friendly" hacker(s): The only thing I want less than your help is for you to keep playing DayZ.

What admins can and can't do is for another thread. I'm against hacking in DayZ period, and that includes using items that are obviously hacked in by someone else. Just wanted to get the word to our admin what was going on as a preventative measure and that's why I posted this.

Well like I said, using an item that someone else hacked into the game is in principal no different than hacking it in yourself. I agree with you that snipers sitting outside cherno or elektro picking off people running around with marakovs deserve to die, but I don't need to use a hacked weapon to do it. I'm glad to see your integrity is worth so much. I understand the advantages of the gun, that's not the issue here. Also, I wouldn't call it squeemish or being a pussy I'd call it considerate. If our server admins did happen to ban me, I'd have to ask our whole playgroup to move to another server. I'll take my friends over a scope any day.

Hey just wanted to let our server admins know I found an AS50 TWS this morning. I didn't realize this weapon doesn't spawn until Beez57 (TATER SALAD) texted me about it so I currently have it in my inventory (I'm not logged in right now). I know that according to a recent post by Rocket using an already hacked-in weapon doesn't result in a global ban, but I wanted to make sure I'm not banned from the server or labeled as a hacker until I can log back in and drop it. I would prefer to put it in a dead body and hide the body to completely despawn it so no one can find it and dupe it but I'm in a remote location and I just want to get rid of this thing before it brings me trouble. Kinda sucks, I was so excited to use it (before I realized it was hacked) but using a weapon that you know is hacked is no better than spawning it in yourself. If any of the server admins want to get in touch with me I can tell you exactly where I found it if that helps find the person who spawned it in. Reply and we'll get in touch.

I'm "The Real Barnabus" and I'm on a lot because I work from home so that's probably why I'm always on when there is hacking activity. I've died to the (or a) hacker 3 times in the past week or so, along with Beez and a few other friends. I've noticed the past few days haven't been nearly as bad, not sure if it's successful banning or just luck but it's definitely more fun when I don't have to worry about being teleported or killed out of nowhere. Our group really likes this server so we're happy to see that the hacking is improving (knock on wood). I'm not sure if there is any question still about anyone in our group (Barnabus, The Real Barnabus, Rhi, Derek, TATER SALAD) being the hacker but let me just say for the record that hacking a game like this completely defeats the purpose and we are vehemently opposed to hacking, duping, alt+f4ing and all that nonsense. The whole reason this mod is fun is because you can lose everything at any moment; that's what mainly sets it apart from every other pvp shooter out there. On an unrelated note, to the people who killed me while I was trying to take their bus yesterday: I knew buses were slow, but I didn't realize they were that slow <_< Have fun with your new sniper rifle!
