Are AS50's worth anything anymore?

So yesterday to my convenience I discovered a players dead body by a super market. He had an AS50 on him and some food, but with all the hackers is the gun worth anything anymore? I've seen videos of hackers running around with AS50s in Buses decimating other players. Its hard to tell if this AS50 was legitly found or just hacked in. So tell me are these sniper rifles worth anything? Or have they gotten to the rarity level of an AKM? I'd like to hear your guys' input and responses to this. :)

I'd say it's a worthwhile gun to have for sure. Just because hackers are using it doesn't make it a bad weapon. If you look at it that way you might as well never attempt to get anything other than an AKM. Ammo might be scarce, but you should be happy you found it so easily.

We have found several on the crash sites just cant find any spare ammo for them. They are a excellent 1 shot kill weapon if you can find any ammo, be sure to go for the M107 mags if you can find any due to the double ammo count.

Well that depends on what value system you are referring to. If you mean are they worth anything as a weapon to use against other player/zombies, then yes the AS50 is a good sniper weapon and very potent against vehicles. If you mean are they worth anything in a monetary or trade by barter sense..... well I can't answer this because trading/buying items in this type of game seems silly. If you mean are they worth picking up because you are worried about getting a hacked weapon, you have no worries there as Rocket has clearly stated that simply having a hacked weapon on you will not be sufficient to result in a ban.

Its worth alot to me, remember. They prolly find a solution and stops the hacking, but in my opinion the gun is worth gold. When i pickup an AS50 im usually going apeshit! <3
