Put their tent in a really stupid and obvious place and not have it messed with?

I stuck one on the hill directly behind the Balota airfield and put a bunch of stuff in it. Not the greatest loot but it would be a great find for a fresh spawn. I kind of forgot about it until today when I traveled back south and it was still sitting there, with all the stuff in it. Every other tent I have ever pitched (in places i thought were well hidden) have been looted and destroyed.

So I have come to the conclusion that the best spot for tents, are the obvious spots. Maybe I'll stick on in the middle of a field and everyone will leave it be because they think it's sniper bait.

Actually its a bug. For some reason the tents keep refilling upon a server restart. Might be just happening to our group but its cross servers as well.

Really? So someone may have looted the tent and then all the same stuff reappeared? That must be the duplication glitch.

Might have happened, but that's a rare case. Depending on what stuff it is a high-end geared guy would not even bother to pick it up.

Also, people like me search the map with "where would a good place to hide a tent" in my mind and I find a lot, so sticking them not in a forest where it is shaded by pines might be actually less obvious.

Trap tents can sometimes be the best tents. People see a tent in the middle of a town and they tend to avoid it.

I'm not going to post the server here. But it has an M1014, Ak74, AKM, Ammo, food, blood, morphine, coke, etc, etc.
