Hopper Crash Site explore via Chopper

Hi there,

Is it possible to find crash sites with a chopper seeing that loot and zombies take a while to spawn when using fast moving vehicles? Or does crash sites randomly get spawned throughout the server instead of player initiated like zombies and loot.

Helo Crash sites are fixed random spawns at the creation of the mission(arma2 term, for dayz users: whenever the server restarts).

All loot at these places are fixed. therefore these places spawn loot without players approaching it. Which explains why no new loot spawns till a server restarts.

Yes you can find crashes with a heli, but its VERY risky - someone could have looted it for an AS50 (Or brought their own) and shoot you out while you are landing. You cant see loot without getting quite low down, so yeah.

it is possible but very risky as choppers are noisy and other players are looking for crashed helis and uncrashed ones lol. I prefedr stealth

The way we do it, is send the chopper out searching with a passenger - passenger looks for crashes and notes down locations which are then called out to the runners who wait at camp with pickup trucks - they then head down and loot. Rich get Richer! :3
