Ive been North... not my thing to be honest i prefer to stay on the coasts and pvp against other groups of players. To remote up north i only go there for counter sniping others

I find it kinda boring to run up and down the map. So much more fun in Cherno and Elektro. If you die so what, just gear up again. That's part of the whole fun.

Just run.. building to building, be eratic. I can run through cherno in 10 minutes having looted everything that spawns the good stuff, and without seeing a single person or getting a single zombie hit.

Talk of groups of good natured players is interesting but different server locations (ie. differing pings) and times (GMT +/-) make it very difficult...
