How many servers would this run?

Server spec:

CPU Intel I7 4x 2(HT)x 2.66 GHz

Ram: 24GB

HDD: 2TB Sata3

Nic: 1Gbit

OS: Windows 2008 Server R2

My quastion is how many dayz server would i be able to run on this, for sake of it lets say eatch of that dayz server has 50 slots. So would i be able to run 2 or maybe 3 50 slot servers on this?

You can probably run 6+ on that setup at the very least. Even running two I don't think our server used over a gig of ram and it worked perfectly on a 3 year old dual core Opteron.

2-3 servers with 50 players each is a max for that CPU.

I was going to say 2-3. But if u like to have a nice performance for players on your server, you need to keep restarting it. Anyway I say 2 is good for optimized gameplay. ;)

As per the dayz devs emails, its best to run Dayz on SSD's Hdd's. I run all my servers on Dell R210 vii E3-1270 3.4ghz machines and never put more than 2 on a box. 24gb ram is very much over kill, my UK119 which is 70slots never uses more than 1.5gb ram.

depends on how much bandwidth u get a month if under 10000 gigs, maybe 2.

i run 2 40 man servers and it eats almost 15000 gigs a month.
