I didn't know about the 'trust'-attitude of ARMA2, pretty much explains a lot.

At least we know somebody hacking has a good chance of sometime finding his account banned. And since Arma2 isn't exactly THAT much of a cheap game...

If you aren't even going to read the thread, then don't make a comment. It's very clear you don't know how this engine works. Yes, poor Scripting is easily the excuse. I actually wouldn't call it poor scripting. ArmAII and Battleye were simply not meant to have DayZ on it.

You're entirely right.

However, the reason people complain is because there's zero communication whatsoever from the DayZ team or rocket about it.

They don't even say it's being worked on.

In fact when rockets on live stream got thunderdomed he glazed over the issue completely, didn't even say anything.

Whatever else rocket adds to the mod or fixes in way of bugs is pointless until the hacking is dealt with in a timely manner.

In fact, he may as well just shut down the hive until it's fixed, that's how bad it is.
