Please, sir, in order to keep your forum profile without warnings from moderators be so kind to make your topic title more descriptive, with simple and straight meaning or problem naming.

I'm changing your topic title and give you temporary warning for 3 dayz. Warning will disappear after 3 days. Thanks for understanding.

Well it will run I believe, even though you should post you graphics too. Don't expect it to run super smooth though, it laggs for me sometimes and I've even got better specs then you.

Need more information tbh...what graphics card you got?

But 4gb of RAM and and I5 is pretty good for basic gaming, should be fine though, download the demo of ARMA and see if it works as its the same engine :)

Thanks dirtnasty I thought it was pretty screwed of a mod to post that on here and give me a warning for first post and not answer the question as well.

I am guessing that the moderator probably had better things to do (or was perhaps busy).

OP should mention exactly what kind of graphics card he has, AND what version of the graphics driver is installed on his computer.

If using an AMD/ATI card, the driver version can be seen when opening the "Catalyst control center" (from the start menu in windows), in the "information --> software" (in newer versions of the former catalyst control panel). Driver versions are usually easily interpreted. 12.4 means year 2012, month 4, i.e. april 2012.

Hey Rusty,

By the looks of it should be ok, maybe keep on low-medium setting it is a very basic card though, are you using a laptop/notebook?

Yes unfortunately I am using a laptop :( I bought this to use for my course just for basic essay typing and stuff then I came across this game. Soo regret not spending the extra 100 or so dollars to get one with a better graphics card :/

Ok, well like I said, go for the Demo, mess about with the setting, but I wont expect a smooth gaming experience :(

If you know how or know someone who can, upgrade the G-card assuming it's out of warranty, or buy a new one? :P

Or convince a friend(s) to let them use there PC :D haha

Hey its still under a warranty but what does that mean in relation to the graphics card (sorry i'm actually quite useless when it comes to gaming on computers)

It is unlikely to play very well, you might manage to play on low settings but it would not be a great experience. Laptops are not designed to play games, especially ones without a dedicated graphics card (which I suspect is the case), you should save up for a desktop PC if you want to play PC games.

Playing PC games is an expensive hobby, much more so than consoles, be sure that you can afford the initial investment and to upgrade parts every 12-24 months. If you buy a "low end" PC now you will have to change parts much sooner than if you bought a "top end PC" now, to meet the minimum requirements for games on the PC.

Most warranties dont let you "MOD" shop bought stuff, so if your pop the case you void your warranties basically, unless you get the said shop too install it for you for an extortionate price lol, used to work in an electrical shop and we charged like £60 to install 2gb of RAM that costs £20 -_- lol.

If you serious about getting into PC gaming, in the future buy the parts and build yourself, cheaper and the parts all come with there own 1-2year warranties :) I think over 6 years I have spent about £3000 upgrading and have never had to pay for repairs :) and bonus you can sell old parts on :D

Give the shop a ring though see what they charge, but you will need your own G-Card though :)

This is a UK site but they ship worldwide I believe and I use it all the time... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/
