Cherno snipers getting lazy

27 man US server. Middle of the day, I ride into cherno with 5000 blood and a broken leg on a bicycle. I have a M4A3 CCO on my back, I'm humming over the microphone, ringing my bell, fully expecting to die.

I see some aggroed zombies in the distance and I hear a gun shot or two (sounded like a winchester) but otherwise nothing happened. I pulled up to the medical tents. Strolled on in and loaded up supplies including morphine. Walked out and looked around. I saw a cow in the field. I took a shot at it, killed it, got the meat, got on my bike, then calmly rode off humming on the microphone.

Sometimes shit really does go your way.

I thought about it, but I only have MSI afterburner and it records pretty shittily. Also recording myself dieing (which I fully expected to do) didn't seem like fun.

ya this really has just gone to almost counter strike with zeds as pesky npc..im stuck in electro restocking on ammo killing zeds and getting kicked from each server im on or killed with no gun before i get one...or just after i find one, and the sniper just dosent want to loot my body( i know this cause i spent 30 mins treking back to my body with an alice backpack full of supplies to see my coyote bag and winchester gun sitting there)

I haven't encountered a sniper in a long time. And when I do, they usually miss.

Example: I walk into Elektro. I see a sniper sitting on top of the hospital. I accidentally aggro a zombie, and run away. He takes 4-5 potshots at me (completely missing), before giving up. I then find a surviver with a hatchet, who I proceed to try to make friends with. He/she (female skin), decides to attack me with the hatchet. I kill him/her with my ak, still receiving no more shots from the sniper. Then I proceed to loot the rest of Elektro and leave.

I usually can walk in and out of Cherno expecting something to go down and it never does on my server I play on. Elecktro is another story, and Stary....I stay the fuck away from it. NWAF seems dead too, but I rarely go there either.

You know what I think. A lot of these areas are getting bare because of all the tents saving gear with unlimited amounts of guns. Why go into a city and risk anything when you can run out to a favorite saved location in the woods and restock? Because Elecktro is one giant sniping nest that's mostly the hottest next to Stary and it's huge ass hill overlook for miles. Just my opinion.

+1 for stary. I think it's worse than NWAF because you are so exposed

The only time I've been killed by a sniper was on my very first spawn as I was heading into Cherno. (it was also my very first encounter with another player, and they killed me, from god knows how far away.)

Never made the mistake of going into a city like it was no big deal again.
