Just found a functional chopper.

Everything except for the fuel is orange or red and when I jumped in, it was kind of spinning in circles. I really have no idea how to fly this thing.

The Vrotor is broken.

You should get a scrap metal to fix it

Dont fly it without repairing it, the rear rotor is damaged so all you will do is fly around in circles.

I wonder if it is a fresh spawn? I'm not sure where to check to see if there is gear stored in it. I don't want to stand in that field for too long.

Freshly spawned choppers have a lot of repairs necessary. Usually you need a main rotor, scrap metal, 8 panes of glass, engine parts, and uhhh... I think that's it, to get it into full working condition.

Try to fly it now, and you'll probably wreck it.

I'm still busy looking for glass for mine, sorry. They are a lot of fun though, and there is no better way to travel really.

You should jump into ARMORY and learn to fly a bit.

Highly doubt that is a spawn, I found mine at Skalisky Island like many others. As for helping you I am very far away but you should try to hit those industrial spawns in Pustoshka for some scrap metal or whatever parts you need.

I don't know how else it could have gotten to where it is in the shape that it's in. I couldn't even get it to lift off the ground. Thanks for the offer anyway.

I honestly don't even want the thing. I just want to go for a ride in it. I haven't driven any vehicles yet.

I'd guess someone took it out and lightly crashed it. Does a bunch of damage to most of the vehicle parts, but doesn't blow it up unless you really plow it into something.

I decided to just bail on it. It would be more useful if I played with a group. But I play solo.

Plus I don't have the inventory space right now to haul parts around, I've spent all day running around looking for bandit camps.

I imagine that is what would happen to me if I went through the trouble of fixing it. I would park it somewhere stupid and then watch it fly away. lol.
