xxPho3nixx 3 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) Yesterday some hackers decked out with .50 cals and machine guns not even in Day Z came rolling through in a jeep, hunting other players down. Today they blew up a building in Komarovo I was posted in, walked straight up to my friend, placed a satchel charge, stood there, and blew it up, killing my friend, but managing to stay alive. They've been hitting up the server about the same time (8p-12a EST). Please help!Edit: Upon logging back into my server, everyone was teleported and killed. I wasn't kicked because I was still loading, but the admin kicked me anyway. Server was locked immediately locked afterward. Dr. Wily 4 Posted August 1, 2012 I can confirm this. There have been hackers everywhere the past two days. They tormented everyone and teleport killed them and then they locked the server (im assuming either the admin is in on it or got tired of it, at this point thinking in on it) and locked the server with only 8 people on it now (who are getting the helicopter likely or something). muppet1856 25 Posted August 1, 2012 I can tell you as the admin of this server, we were not getting epic gear. The server was locked as soon as I found out there were hackers. I started kicking and banning ASAP to protect the remaining players. They managed to "nuke" Cherno in the meantime. The server is open again and the hackers have moved on. echo5rom3o 8 Posted August 1, 2012 I will personally guarantee that there was no looting going on while this server was locked. It was locked so that the hackers, stated above, could not rotate their IP address and re-enter the server. The admin for this server is not just some dumb kid. He knows what he is doing and if it seemed like you were being shorted somehow you weren't. The admin just wanted to make sure that everyone who comes to this server, had their gear, camps, and whatever legal elements to the game were still here and not ruined by any outside scripting not approved by BI or Rocket. And I can also confirm the group that plays on this server 90% of the time does not have the chopper. We are just trying to survive like you all are. Any ways have fun, stay alive, and most importantly stay frosty. I have no problems being contacted about this server, but keep in mind I do not, own, operate, or admin this server.
