Is the banning appeal forum useless?

Does anyone actually ever get UNBANNED?

I've read through just about every thread on that forum and i cant say i've seen a single one where a player was unbanned

Do admins actually use that forum at all or is it just there to satisfy complaints?

Im talking about server admins wrongfully banning other players not battleeye giving out global bans.

It is useless. According to most forum posters battle eye is god and there is no false positives. This is the only program in the world that has a 100% success rate and it is used by a game most people never heard of before dayz.

depending on what battle eye does, it may be 100% accurate. False positives occur when there is a possibly innocent action that leaves the same footprint as a hack/virus/etc. Just saying "false positive" doesn't mean it's possible.

Im not talking about battleeye at all though.

If battleeye issues a global ban nothing can be done by the dayz staff.

When an admin of a server bans you you can post on the ban appeal forum but ive never seen anyone get unbanned for such things.

I was wondering if that forum is pointless.
