Removal of NVGs and Thermal Scopes

I actually think military grade equipment should be really ultra rare.

That includes military guns, ammo, backpacks, clothing, accessories and everything.

Guns should be rarer than they are too, as should ammo.

Even if there was a civilwar going on in the area, this does not mean that the military equipment is in a good state.

That's also the point with the military weapons...just let a .50 caliber stay in the dirt/dust and rain for a few days(as it would be in the scenario) and it gets pretty useless.

Except from the point that you are a SURVIVOR wich is immune to the virus, not a surviving military member who knows how to maintain EVERY kind of weapon he founds.

If ya want to encourage cooperation, try removing the fucking military grade weapons that are basically useless other than lawlsnipping players at 1000m. WHY THE HELL IS THERE AN AS50 IN A FUCKING ZOMBIE MOD?!?!!?!?!? Youre just ASKING for people to do nothing but snipe. The sad thing is that there are more types of snipers in this mod than pistols XD

NVGs arent as big a deal as the thermal tho, u can just spin around until you get a heat sig and then open up on him XD

I'm for removing NVGs. It would add a lot to the atmosphere of the game. I hate the L85 thermal as well, I'm glad that it has been removed from spawning, but people still have it. I hope one day they'll be all gone.

I'm of the opinion an altogether more elegant solution is to make the NVGs just suck up batteries.

Sure, it's a big perk in battle, but its also another thing high-level players have to scavenge for.

Anyway. Rocket said - "they do give unfair advantage, but no one says you're playing a fair game" and I totally agree with him.

But I agree that they should be rare and guzzle batteries.

I can't say they are very common now either - I found a sniper near cherno with those and got attacked by two who were trying to get my car. didn't help them when I threw a flare right into them and shot them both by using trees and my own car as cover.
