I've caught a cold. What do?

Left a bad (1.5.8.3) server at peak condition and spawned in the next one bleeding out my ass with a broken leg and 60 temp in the rain.

I see on the loot table it lists antibiotics as a .22% chance spawn, only at hospitals (of which there are a grand total of 4). I also see that the nearest hospital is on the other side of the map. What do?

On a related note, does coughing produce noise that affects zombies/players? Does the cold cause the shaking or was that just the cold?

My cough always disappears when I log off. Was playing the other night, got a cold, played a bit more then disconnected. When I got on again, the cold was gone.

Same thing happened last night as well, so I guess it goes away after some time.

Oh well, was planning on going to Berezino, but not tonight. The cold ruined it for me :/ At least it's only 2k blood loss and caps me out at 10k.

If I recall you cant die from the cold only decrease your max blood levels?, however yes the cough can agro Z and be heard. Not as contagious as I feared Ive been near it twice and not caught it... I definately do not let my blood stay below 10k anymore.

well frankly i was indeed hoping or expecting that it went away with time, or else this AIDS would spread faster than the zed infection itself cuz the anit-biotics are not particularly plentyful.

I had a cough last night, when I logged in tonight it was gone but my temp was at 34, I quickly lit a fire and let it get back to 100, I havnt coughed yet. *fingers crossed*

campfires dont cure the cold, just gets your temp up and prevent the cold. but once you have the cold it wont cure it, it didnt cure it for me.
