Guest cRy Posted August 1, 2012 Everyone, and I mean everyone experiences FPS drop when the server has been up for a time. It has to do with the "object cleanup" which Rocket made mention of around .2 but hasn't mentioned since. It is an easy fix. It is the blood that is causing the performance loss. Put a timer on it. Done.
Kirikin 1 Posted August 1, 2012 It's varies a lot but mostly 70-80 even up too 140 in certain areas lol.Running on an Alienware M18x R2I get high teens on a good day and I've got an Alienware m14x. What in the sweet name of beans am I doing wrong?
MastaBlasta 9 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) I generally get 60fps as I use vsync. With everything on very high except AA i run on normal and both normal and 3d res at 1900x1200 and a second monitor at 1900x1200 with a map up. I see some dips into the 40s in heavily wooded areas. The AA on the trees kills me. If I turn off AA I never see FPS below 55. I am getting a 680 sometime in the near future so that should help.
