Rangefinder mark a location

Recommended Posts

dayz videos or arma 2? i think the simple rangefinder we get in dayz does not have the targeting function or tagging. wouldn´t that be a little to easy?

Dunno bout using the rangefinder to mArk spots but if you have an ingame map you can just put up a waypoint using shift- left click on most servers.

They didn't have a l85 equipped but possibly. One was a guy with a cco sd and night vision stalking a bandit, who he killed next to the nw barracks. The other video the guy was sniping and had a location in the distance marked. I'll see if I can find the videos again.

Some servers allow you to add a 3D marker on-screen that includes distance

You can do it by openin the map and clicking LMB while holding down Shift

It appears as a double circle on the map
