-Atlas- 5 Posted July 31, 2012 A couple of days back I joined a regular ArmA2 game on Chernarus (this was before I got DayZ) and it had really dense fog in it. The fog really gave a lot of atmosphere to the map and I remember being pretty much awestruck about how the world looked so differently with the fog. I'm not sure if it has been implemented into DayZ, either way I haven't seen it yet after a couple days of playing. I don't know whether the fog was an actual weather effect, or that the maximum view distance was just drastically reduced, but in either case I think it would really change things up to have some dense fog every once in a while. Fraggle (DayZ) 15720 Posted July 31, 2012 It's a weather effect that also happens in DayZ. Dense fog is very rare but you'll often see mist on some days. I love it because it make snipers lives a misery.
