The FN FAL is a battle-rifle designed by FN Herstal. It is chambered in 7.62x51 NATO, and has been widely used. This variant is equipped with a AN/PVS-4 night vision sight (non-toggle-able i.e: cannot be switched between night vision and normal crosshairs), only available from helicopter crashes. This weapon is one of the rarest finds in the game but, because of its optics, this weapon can only be used at dusk/night/dawn with any precision while firing.

There not all that rare. At least, I have two. The ammo is quite rare though. Can't turn the night vision off but if that's your thing then there a good gun. Anyone want one of mine?

It would be a more useful gun if you could aim down the iron sights during daytime. Anyone play RO2? Their scoped rifles all have an alternate aim system down the iron sights when your target is too close to use the telescopic sight. I've been rolling with one and a Bizon for a while, getting kida bored and thinkin of jumping into some bean wars to respawn.
