mtunreal69 2 Posted July 31, 2012 Hello everyone,I want to share an idea, and a route to help everyone enjoy there DayZ experience, hopefully joining myself with other allied survivors.I like to play as I would envisage myself in the zombie apocalypse, peaceful and willing to help those in need. This also comes with a necessary need to protect myself & other survivors from ruthless bandits.Lately I have had several panic & shoot scenarios, resulting in my death and the poor soul who took my life. This could of been resolved by a quick discussion of our positions and a mutual respect whilst we loot our requirements.I wanted to present the Circle of Trust between us "survivors". Generally I play solo or with a group friends, rarely with unknowns. In the Circle of Trust, I will be listing every time I log into a server for everyone to see. As I encounter people in the thread I will be generating a list of people who are considered allied to the Circle of Trust.Conversely I will be generating a list of bandits, thieves & people who hinder our aid of survival. Bandit's my wish to take advantage of the Circle of Trust, but they will be exposed to those within the trust circle.I hope this thread will enable people who are playing alongside myself and other members I trust, to not panic and shoot on site. Keeping track of continual bandit and decent members will hopefully allow for a DayZ fraternity were mutual respect can be honoured.Username - Mike :)

mtunreal69 2 Posted July 31, 2012 the name's a bit gay but the idea isn't awfulHa, maybe. I couldn't think of a better way to describe a non-clan allied set of people.
mtunreal69 2 Posted July 31, 2012 I'll let people know where I am. I'm sure it will attract bandits, but would they be willing to take the risk knowing that multiple non-bandits will be protecting each other. The Circle of Trust promotes honourable play, these players may be able to dupe us once, but they will be known to all the other members.

mtunreal69 2 Posted July 31, 2012 Circle of Trust?Sounds like some kind of secret homosexual gang bang.Well, that maybe your sort of thing. I don't discriminate but that's certainly not the intent of the group. I don't think it would be secret anyway, seen as I am advertising the location, time and players in a thread. Thanks for the observation though ;)
H1t0w3r 19 Posted July 31, 2012 Nice idea, like many others it will be manipulated by Bandits. The list may help prevent this as it grows. 3 Friends and I play regularly, we can provide aid and security when required. We play most evenings & weekends in GMT.Mostly in UK servers, what time zone are you guys in?

mtunreal69 2 Posted July 31, 2012 Its good to see some positive responses already and some potential allies.I hope that people would themselves like to post in the thread if they care to join me when online. This way you can announce your arrival, and show you want to be a trusted person. If we come across players that are unaware of the circle of trust or bandits taking advantage, I will judge the situation depending on its outcome. I'm ideally looking to prevent panic & shoot situation and promote an awareness of players that are looking to be trustworthy allies. Bandits will inevitably expose themselves, flagging their intentions to the circle allies.

Take your time and be cautious approaching towns. Plan a route and always have an escape clause in the event of zombies or bandits.http://dayzdb.com/map - I find this map quite useful. mtunreal69 2 Posted August 2, 2012 Bit of a delay getting online chaps. Dayz keeps giving me the BSOD, despite having the same system set-up. No overheating issues, as i rebuilt the pc prior to loading Arma as I know its a Cpu intensive game. I'll be hopefully getting back online later tonight to join in with you chaps.
