OP the reason there is 'no' loot is because loot only spawns when people enter within a certain 'radius'.... the server doesn't remember loot and zombies if there are no players around to see them.

if you login too close (or inside) the barracks, then you should not get any item spawns. it's written into the game to stop loot/zombies spawning on top of you, but has the added bonus of making cross-server farming a little more difficult.

i don't want to make you paranoid, but the only reason there WOULD be loot inside the barracks if you spawn inside, is if someone else is already in the vicinity (or has been ~10 minutes ago). maybe someone with an as50 scoped in through the barracks window.

I was trapped in the Cherno church the same way until i log into a low population foreign server. I still have no toolbox till this day.

EDIT: on this time, the door was still blocked but there was NOTHING. absolutely nothing in the building. not even trash. come on, wtf people! STOP BLOCKING THE FUCKING DOORS! i mean, come on! why is all of the barbed wire on the servers with 0-2 people on it?! (i will NOT join a server with more than 2 people in my current situation...i will never leave the airfield if i join a deathmatch.)

Sounds like just pure bad luck, crippled by server hoppers. I have done 2 solo looting runs of the NW Airfield on my current life (on 20 - 30 player servers), both times the Barracks and Hangers yeilded good loot, lots of AK rifles, smgs, shotguns, and plenty of ammo for all kinds of guns.

Still, you wouldn't have liked to have been in my situation when I first approached the Barracks, I alerted some zombies when hugging the barracks wall and 5 zombies came out of the barracks, I gunned them down at the door and another 6 or so were running at me from outside, so I ran into the barracks to funnel them and there was another 5 zombies in the Barracks coming out of the small rooms, leaving me to about an inch, the room needed to sprint past them to the end of the barracks, where I proceeded to use 2 full mags of my Bizon SD just to get the situation under control. It was one of the worst situations I have been in.

Second time which was only yesterday didn't go too smoothly either with groups of zombies literally spawning next to me, I could see them spawning when I turned around, for my entire time in the NW Airfield, spawns need to be controlled a bit better, it got hairy at times.

Anyways, I hope you escape your barracks of doom.

Um ... I just vault barbed wire and tank traps (at the side).

Unless they are positioned perfectly it's pretty easy to do.

someone send a rescue squad; still stuck. as for hopping over the barbed wire, i can't. the tank traps fill up the doorway, with a barbed wire in the mix, and outside the door is rows and rows of barbed wire too close together to jump over. note to self: never go to barracks again.

Log out in the last stall ready for action. I just got 10 clips for my dmr there and believe me I had a lot more to lose then your time getting there.

When you log in shut up and peek out the window to see if zombies are there, no zombies loot.. No guns? Chk map and hit the tree stands surrounding the airfield.

God i hate tank traps and barbed wire.

I actually wouldn't mind if people used them as traps (and i don't know why that is as it meant i'd die). But at the moment as it stands; every single one i've come across is a nusance blocking a doorway of somewhere i need to be because of the zombies chasing me.

That and the annoying graphical glitch i noticed tank traps can give off blocking your entire view from city-lengths away.
