Leaking Fuel Huey (100% fixed incl Windows)

I'm so tired of this bug.

I've fixed my Huey completely, new engine, rotor, 3 or 4 x Scrap metal and like 8~9 Windows or Glasses. Everything is Green and it STILL Leaks.

Any hint?

I have NEVER been able to install the fueltank parts in the chopper, we've tried and tried several times and no guide shows that the Huey uses fuel tank parts. The only thing I've found is that if anything is below 95% health it starts to leak.

and trust me, I'm no noob. Been here since OFP alpha.

The choppers are bugged.Fix all windows, that should do the trick.

I'll try that. When I try to fix using scrapmetal I only get like 3 options. Gonna search some more.

If you see 3 options those 3 need repair. Maybe only slightly damaged but that counts.

We found out that after a server restart the Helicopter stops leaking fuel. Seems to be some kind of bug.

For Clarification we did:

Repair the heli completely (material als listed above incl all windows)

Still leaking fuel.

Waited for a server restart (we play on a server which has them every 6 hours for stability)

After restart heli no longer leaks fuel.

Perhaps this helps to debug the bug....

- All Windshields (even though they were new and unbroken)

- Main Rotor

- VHull

- VInstruments

- VMissiles

- VSecondary Rotor

AND IT STILL LEAKS! it is 100% repaired and this stupid chopper still leaksssssssssssssssssss, any idea?!

It's bugged. I've repaired 3 chops so far.. what i did was: repair everything (including glasses and all), then start to do random things.. like "rearm" then do in and out the pilot seat etc, then after some time they stops leaking fuel for no apparent reason. Sometime i've repaired the same piece (ie: the vMissiles) multiple times, even if it was already green.

Luckily we're a big squad, so we had plenty of time to defend it near to a gas station, wasting tons of fuel jerry cans at each try until it finally works.

As said it's totally random.. do not expect a guide of what you need to do *exactly* to repair one (like: you need 9 glass, you need 5 scrap metal. etc.) because it wouldn't works. For each helicopter i ended to use like: 12 glass + 7 scrap (average) + 1 main rotor + engine part (ah.. i NEVER used a fuel tank part so far).

i tried a bunch of stuff too and couldn't figure it out so i'm just going to put this as plainly as i can because it has worked for me since then 3 times.

get 1 engine, 1 rotor, 8 windows, and 4 scrap metal.

Replace EVERYTHING even if you have already, for the glass make sure you replace each glass option not just keep spamming the same one.

for instance in the menu you will see 8 options for replace glass, use 1 pane on each option.

every time i have done this it has stopped leaking. And has never leaked since.

In 2 days I had 1 hacker kill us all in the chopper and destroy it, and lost another one when I server went down. I'm over heli copters, I spent so much time fixing it only to have a hacker fuck it up. They aren't they great really.
