No, we're not blind. You missed someone because you were switching views like you were having a seizure instead of following up on your shots. You ran out from cover into the MIDDLE of an empty lot and were shot and killed because you didn't check your corners or stay behind cover. You suck bro, but it's ok, I suck at PVP too. But I don't post youtube videos of my epic fails and cry into my milk about it.

As to the OP, same thing. Maybe you don't suck but made a mistake and someone got the drop on you. Oh well.

It's a free mod, feel 'free' (pun intended) to stop playing anytime. If I ever get sick of this game that's what I'll do.

I thought the same and I was laughing pretty good at all that. Then I watched it in 1080. He hit his target at least a couple times but the desync finally caught up. Then he ran out into the open like a noob and got killed for it. Desync is not something DayZ introduced to the world so I'm not sure why he's flipping his lid over it.

Wow, just wow. I didn't miss him. My mouse is fucked for some reason. But that's not the point. If you look closer you can see blood splashing out on the hits. The hits that went through were perfect. Also, we already knew he was in the perimeter, we were following him all along and we knew he was alone in the vicinity. That was a pure desync, as you can see he disappeared right after the 4th shot. I maybe missed one shot. Those are DMR bullets.

A similar thing happened later that day on the airfield, I suddenly fall down, no shots, just blinking blood and all of a sudden a dude magically appears over my corpse trying to loot me, realizing I'm still alive. My ping on that server was 50.

So don't tell me it's all in the spirit of the game. I understand if I'd run out like a retard in that situation and get wasted, fine, I suck. But that was complete BS, that desync altered the fairness and I thought I actually got him, so I ran out.

The server I last played on today is a private hive, usually 32 ping, decent population. Taviana. And there was a hacker on it today, and admins came 5 mins later, banned his ass and restored the people that died by the hacks. But this crap has been happening for awhile now. I don't know, maybe it's just extreme bad luck or coincidence, but I get knocked out alot+broken legs lately. What finally made give up was that I shot a guy with M4A1 CCO close range, he just returned fire with a Makarov incapacitating me and breaking my legs. Then I came back to loot my body, there was another guy roaming there, I shot at him with a Makarov hitting him, he shot back, AGAIN incapacitating me. And I said, "fuck this shit, I'm out".

This is not really true since this system is bugged.

One day I went to cherno, full blood 12k , I was someone with makrov one shot to the chest and he knock me out and killed me.

It's sad becasue sometimes someone can shoot you with a sniper and you can just keep running like nothing happend, and sometimes one stupid shoot from low damge gun can knock you out or break your bone.

WRT OP, you seem like you are rediculously unlucky and could do with reading through the bug lists. So many things in this game block bullets, you have to be pretty careful about choosing your shots. I have danced around people, even in relatively open areas, and killed them with an axe just because they didnt know how well bushes stop bullets. Aiming in this game is also a bitch because of the low (sub 60fps) frame rates you get in many areas. Being tooled up is not an advangtage if lag and poor frame rate make it impossible to hit a moving target. Don't be afraid to go hand to hand, drop your gun and start chopping.

Also with rifles, you are best off actually aiming low, in my experience. A broken leg is more of a problem than even heavy bleeding in a firefight. If you are using STANAG or ak rounds, count on it taking a whole magazine to kill the person, shooting them twice and then thinking about how good a shot you are is not going to make you a real survivor.

I would make all headshots be knock outs from pistols, making them effective PvP ambush weapons. if you are dumb enough to let someone get the drop on you, you deserve to lose your kit.

Some girl with a pistol just knocked me out in a couple shots even though I out geared her badly. I still had like 10,000 blood but I had to wait there for 30 seconds while she took my own gun and shot me with it. Other times I have got into big fire fights where I went down to 800 blood but never got knocked out. This is game breaking and makes me want to quit the game because I know I'm always only a couple lucky shots away from getting knocked out and losing all my hard earned stuff. It takes the skill out of the game in my opinion I just want some consistency.

WTF, I was liek LVL 80 and some nub who was only lvl 10 beet me in PVP we need consistency.

Please then, explain to me how, in the stairwell of a multi-story building, one of the ones in Cherno, I was hit by a zombie. I had full health. I got broken leg, shock, knocked out, and instantly dead? I mean, unless the zombie had a .50 cal in it's hands.

Even the other three people on the stairwell with me were sitting there like 'wtf just happened?' and it wasn't friendly fire. Guy behind me had a winchester.

This game is RIDDLED with bugs and shit like this. I broke my legs earlier because I RAN PAST MY FRIEND. We had a car that was eating car tires whenever we put them in the rear right slot. I fell 40 feet out of an exploding aircraft and landed on the ground without taking a single point of damage. I've seen zombies take headshots from an Ak47 and keep coming.

Case in point, I've seen a lot more unbelievable shit than being knocked out at full blood.

This. Arma 2's engine is like the twilight zone, ANYTHING can happen. I once unloaded a full mag on a dude in the firehouse, his char just blinked and somehow he was behind me now and one-shot me in the head. Crazy ass desync, I didn't even have a warning and I don't play on servers with shit ping.

Unless the devs themselves are contributing to the wiki, there's no guarantee of accuracy to that page. It's entirely likely that you can get knocked-out by a zombie at any health level, and it just becomes more likely as blood gets lower; even the point where above 9k it's so rare that people testing the mechanic just never happened to get knocked out unless they were below 9k, and just assumed that was the limit.

I've been full-health knocked out before. Spawned near Balota, made my way to the hunting stands, was hopping over the sandbags by the road, a zomber sprinted up and BAM - one punch KO, slowly got eaten while watching that PAINFULLY slow hourglass tick away one row of pixels every few seconds.
