Automating actions aka scripting (i.e. quick switch to hatchet)

Hi there!

As my google searches suggest it is possible to make scripts as i.e. in Counterstrike. I don't want do anything fancy but something like

1. drop empty primary weapon to floor

2. equip with hatchet

3. reload hatchet (as stupid as it may be..)

4. go mad at everything in reach (well...don't really need a scripted action for that...)

would come in handy from time to time.

Possible or not? If yes, how?

I would avoid any scripting just to be safe. Especially at this stage of the game.

Let's face it: The moment you manage to run a "custom script" you're cheating.

There's no way to allow some features in scripts while restricting others. So a script for switching weapons plays in the same league as a script that spawns a fucking nuke.

Yea. Dont do it unless you wanna get kicked/banned. You can go ahead and do it for Arma game, but not in the DayZ mod.

Its very possible. There are tons of scripts on Armaholic for stuff like this but you dont want to do it in Dayz or MP ArmaII. Battle Eye will log it and ban you in the next wave.
