andb52 12 Posted July 31, 2012 There are parachutes. However, I'm not sure what the proper way is to eject. We tried moving straight up via autohover and ejecting. I also tried ejecting while in a nosedive (don't ask). Neither worked, although the parachute did deploy on the first one.Do you have to be moving up AND forward to eject safely? jordy@sigux.com 44 Posted July 31, 2012 Up and forward seems pretty straight forward. Gain speed while gaining altitude? :S
Sticker704 121 Posted July 31, 2012 Just put a helicopter into the Arma 2 editor and practice there.
Crammal 0 Posted July 31, 2012 Yeah I just saw a video today of guys parachuting. I didn't check the date on the video so it very well could have been an older one with a hacked helicopter, but I have a feeling it was since the update. Do you just automatically get one if you jump out? You don't need to find an item that you use right?
Dr Cheese 100 Posted July 31, 2012 I think you have to eject when flying above -maybe 500m?- or so, then the chute will open automatically, otherwise you be eating dirt. That's how it is in vanilla arma anyhow.
