HMS 115 Posted July 30, 2012 I knew the crowbar was bugged, but now I am stuck outside a town swarming with Zs and my hatchet won't "reload".Is this a new problem?
lugaru 103 Posted July 30, 2012 I think I had something like that happen before... moved it to belt and back to weapon and I was fine... give that a try and let me know if it works.
Rokochan 26 Posted July 30, 2012 is it on your tool belt? if it is remove it from tool belt, it will be in your rifle slot if you are unarmed. press r for reload
Bubba Jones 30 Posted July 30, 2012 I had it bugged once like that. I dropped the hatchet and picked it back up, then I could reload it and use it.
HMS 115 Posted July 30, 2012 yeah I put it on the belt, took it off, dropped it, picked it back up, dropped it, swapped for an Enfield, put it in the pack, reenabled it, etc.It just always says 0 ammo, in red.Oh well. The enfield worked out great in the town. Good thing there was a smoke grenade there too.Man, that was a mess!
Bubba Jones 30 Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) I presume you tried to press the "r" key (or whatever you may have it rebound to) and it didn't work? You have to reload the ammo in the hatchet to get it to work. Edited July 30, 2012 by Bubba Jones

HMS 115 Posted July 31, 2012 Oh yeah, I did everything I could to "reload" it.I was absolutely swarmed and did not have backup so I just about broke the R key. hahaLesson learned: make sure all your gear works before bombing into a town.
