If you guys like this guide, in future there will be a guide to banditry, survivor's guide, and video versions of each. Feel free to leave feedback, and for those veterans please let me know if anything could be wrong, or any other advice you think should be included. If you're interested, check it out. They first should be making sure they can survive the first hour, after they collect a tent if they live that long, and learn the game better, then they can start looking for a more permanent server... when you first start you have nothing that does not carry over with each server switch, so looking for a permanent server right off the bat, is not worth it at all...Playing a server for a while, get to know the locals, if the server is even worth making it you're primary, just picking a server without knowing anything about it, is a very bad idea. There is much more to this but it's you're guide you should have proofread it many many times altering making it sound correct and then posting it. This then is touched on towards the end of the guide, when I talk about setting up a camp.Edit: I see the part which would make you think I was pressuring people to do it first, I guess it was awkwardly worded. Going prone means you're an immobile target that's in reality much easier to hit. If anything, start sprinting towards the nearest cover. I've heard many tales of someone going prone in the middle of a field, which basically just means the sniper has a nice, easy, stationary target to hit.Edit: In fact, in the previous part of the guide, you say "lying down and crawling in the middle of a field doesn’t make you any harder to spot for a sniper." I'd agree that most of the time you're better off running for cover, but if for some strange reason the sniper is shooting at you from a lower point (hey it could happen) going prone could save your life I guess?
