Spooky survivors (video)

So I was just walking around and I noticed these two survivors running across the field, I quickly reached for my binoculars and checked to see what they had. They had nothing, not weapons no backpacks. I decided to run towards them, when I got in talking range I started speaking to them, I said hello many times but there was no answer. They started gaining distances on me even though I was sprinting so I had no choice but to try and slow them down. I shot one guy and got a kill, but fortunately managed to hit the other guy in the leg and slow him down. I then approached the injured survivor and asked him what he was doing. He said nothing and carried on crawling, it was then that I noticed there were 3 other survivors following him. Then I started filming

These are clearly AI controlled, the behaviour of automaticly turning the head to the player (you can see it at the start of the vid) gives it away.

A private server with some custom/hacked features is my guess.

When you say private do you mean locked? I play on a very public server.

I couldn't keep track of them though lol, I had two running off, one crawling and another back on the road that you didn't see, they were nearish my camp and at the time I though maybe they were hackers, so I wanted them gone haha.

I have just analyzed the vid and drawn my conclusions based on the result . It has nothing to do with who you are and where you play.

hacked in. some scripts allow you to spawn "bodyguards"...this is probably a fail at that

or a bug brought on by the new patch

Weird for sure-AI or not. I probably would have followed them for awhile just to see what, if anything, would happen.

The thing is I actually know the admin who runs this server, and he was the one who asked me to upload this because he was just as confused as I was.
