DayZ best mod ever

its a great mod. but i cant call this a zombie apocalypse survival mod because once u get a weapon with enough ammo, zombies are the least problem u have to worry about. Players are many times more dangerous than zombies. Almost all the time i feel like i'm playing call of duty. dayz mod needs way more zombies and not just arround buildings but also in forests and fields so zombies are more dangerous than players.

dayz is great but not the best mod ever sadly

while i loathe it now counterstrike when it was a mod was still WAY beyond dayz, dunno if its the best mod ever but still wins over dayz in overall popularity so far

Rocket himself has said the whole point of this game is player vs player interactions with zombies on the side to keep you on your toes. Not sure how you haven't seen this before? As long as rocket is at the helm zombies will never be the main threat over other players.

DayZ has potential to be a great mod, I definitely wouldnt say its the best mod ever by far. Time will tell where Rocket ends up taking it...

Since when was it a zombie mod? I found it as a survival mod, which happened to have zombies in it. It's not a zombie mod as per wave upon wave of mindless crap that you need to wade through. It's a survival game where those with even the most rudimentary minds are more dangerous than a zombie. Kinda makes sense really...

Go watch Zombieland. That's probably the closest to DayZ.
