Orchards...a food source.

Recommended Posts

Make orchards drop fruit that can be eaten when hungry. Fruit could be fairly hard to see on the ground making searching for them a little difficult. Since there are several orchards in the map it only makes sense that they should be a food source.

Orchards and other easy to grab food sources would probably go by the wayside after a while. But I do like the idea of finding more naturally occuring food. Especially the kind you don't need a knife, match, and firewood to process.

i dont mind this idea, im up for anything that diversifies the map

i did a compilation thread on foraging and tings recently

if ye diversify food resources and include botany to sandbox activity, then farms, alotments, orchards, woods, general varying countryside can serve for different plant spawns and different combinations :)

That would work...I just thought if it because I was running through an orchard thinking "It would be cool if there was fruit on the ground here I could eat.".
