CZ 550 or AKS74 Kobra?

Should I take the CZ or the AK? I already have an MP56SD but I'm not entirely sure would be a better secondary. I figure the CZ gives me range but the AK74S is a good assault rifle. I also have an M1911

The AK74 Kobra is my fave in game gun so i am biased..i would drop the MP56SD and stash the cz in my backpack so i had a scoped weapon for recon. I am guessing you like the quietness of the MP56SD though.

depends on your play style. Will you sit back and snipe or do you want to get nitty and gritty ? ak if your into assaulting and raiding. cz if you like to take your time ect

Yeah I want to keep the MP6, The silencer is too good to pass up. See I've heard some say the CZ is fine as a sniper but others say it's useless. I've not really used it at long distances before.

I always stash the CZ in my pack as even though its a crappy sniper, Its still a sniper. Take that thing to stary, and kill peeps raiding it, and you'll eventually upgrade it to something better.

This completely depends on your playstyle. It's like asking "which is better a Porsche or a Yacht?" If you want to drive then the Porche is better, but if you are out on a lake then it will do you no good.

The CZ is the entry level sniper rifle. It's not amazing but it does the job. However if you are playing as a solo non-bandit then it won't be all that useful. Yes yes I know non-bandits can use sniper rifles to take out bandit snipers also, but that requires constant weapon switching (which I hate), and even then it is only useful if you know ahead of time someone is in a hide.

But if you have plenty of ammo for your MP5 and want to camp people from range then the CZ will obviously be better than the Kobra for that.

Figure out what you want to do and pick the tool that fits that role.

I would go with CZ + MP5SD. MP5SD's ability to fire silently is crucial in cities/airfields. I got my ass saved many times today because of it. CZ is a great long range sniper. I just go on regular servers where i can range find with a scroll of a mouse, then zero the CZ accordingly for easy kills. It's a GREAT sniper, not as good as others but a sniper is a sniper. Got many kills with it. It's also much rarer than the AKS Kobra which you can find anywhere.

So unless you plan to never shoot a single survivor, you should go with a CZ. CZ for PK, MP5 for zombies.

Seeing as you have a close range weapon already (mp5sd) if I were you I would take cz and mp5sd. If it comes to any firefight you should be fine with the cz compared to an ak kobra. If you are in a building though I would suggest getting out your m1911 and be ready to fire if there are bandits there. I have not tried the m1911 since the patch yet but if you are accurate enough it should be okay.

I'd also take an AKM over a Kobra. The rounds are way more powerful. Also you can zero it. All you get on the Kobra is a shitty non-zoom scope that you can't zero, and weak rounds.

As far as CZ vs AK, considering you have the MP5SD, I'd take the CZ. CZ+MP5SD covers more bases than AK+MP5SD.

MP5SD6 - 889 damage = 13-14 hit kill

AK-74 Kobra - 2722 damage = 4-5 hit kill

CZ550 - 8000 damage = 2 hit kill

I would drop the MP5SD6. Low damage, short range, and rare ammo. The Kobra and the CZ would give you the best of close, mid, and long range, while maintaining more common ammo types.

After this I've ended up doing a trek up from Berezino up to Krasnostav then to the NWAirfield. I found several AK variations including 2 Kobras, 2xM9s and a Bizon with three mags at a crashed helicopter. Then in the airfield I came across a M9SD and PDW as well as an M16A2. I've ended up taking the Kobra, M9SD and CZ550. Still trying to work out if I did the right thing :L

Take the CZ550. You will find more ammo and it is a better secondary. You already have a good close quarter combat weapon. You need range. Plus, you can use the scope on the CZ to scan plus have a weapon. Doesn't make you vulnerable like when you use binoculars. Does the Kobra really have an LCD sight? What is that? I thought it had a Red Dot sight? This makes it worse than an iron sight when it comes to range in my opinion.

Honestly I would have taken the Bizon. I love that gun, it was much better pre-nerf/bug but is still very good. Sure it takes several shots to down a Zed, but it have an impressive 64 round mag and is very quiet.

Honestly I would have taken the Bizon. I love that gun, it was much better pre-nerf/bug but is still very good. Sure it takes several shots to down a Zed, but it have an impressive 64 round mag and is very quiet.

It was a hard decision, the bizon was so unbelievably helpful against infected but if I came across a player with my Bizon out I'd be screwed unless they never spotted me. I had to laugh one time shooting someone with an MP5SD6 from a distance and they didnt even know they were getting shot. It's done now though and the M9SD should do against zeds, ammo's the only issue.
