Has this happened to anyone else?

I was playing on a server, hanging out and hiding in a forest, laying down with nothing around except more forest and shrubs, and I had some very good items on me, when the server started to restart. i disconnected from the server and left the game. When i returned to the game, on the same server, it said "Tyler was killed" in the death messages. Seeing as how my in game name is Tyler, I was a bit confused. When i spawned, I was in the middle of a field, with nothing around. I left and exited arma 2 and wrote this post. Is there a way to fix this? I need to know before i try and get back on. (Remember, in the forest there was literally nothing around.). Thanks for any replies.

Chances are you where killed by a tree and disconnected before the YOU ARE DEAD screen loaded in.

And you re spawned in the infinite fields

Log back into a server and see what happens. You might be on the beach with your gear, you might be at a choose character menu. Just gotta log back in and find out.

Okay I reconnected to the server and I have all my stuff thankfully, but I spawned on the coast which isn't too much of a problem because i can always return to the place i was thanks for the help.
