Suggestion: Make a new sub forum for tutorials.

Recommended Posts

Now before we get started, This suggestion has nothing to do with actual gameplay but with the DayZ Forums. I was thinking the mods should make a new sub-forum for newbies to the game. The sub-forum could go within DayZ section. Basically people and mods could fill this section of the forum with tutorialsand helpful videos. I thought about this after reading a suggestion on the inventory. The inventory for me when i started playing was so hard and took me 2 days to get used to because i had no help or guide. But once i did find out how to use it, It was generally very easy. The idea behind this tutorial sub-forum is that a normal player can submit a video about how to use said inventory or many other things to help players get used to it.

Idk it was just a random thought i had.

Submitting a video may be unneccessary load on their servers. However the way they have it now, with New Players Discussion being the home of tutorials, does KIIINNNDDDA work.

I do agree they need to separate it out, put a tutorials or help section inside new players discussion, to separate the guys simply saying "Hey, i just got eaten!" to the guy going "What key makes me crawl?".

+ 1 Beans for separated tutorials
