Dell 690 Workstation

Just wondering for all you tech nerds out there or just those with general PC knowledge whether the PC above; Dell 690 Workstation, with one of the reccomended graphics cards such as the ATI Radeon 4850 GT would be capable of running Arma 2 and the DayZ mod in high detail? Any feedback is appreciated! x

Every "tech nerd" - as you refer them - would tell you not to get an OEM (Pre-built) PC.

And.. 4850? Really? I have the 5830 and it lags like shit.

No offence was meant by it, well it's just something I have lying around and I thought it would play better than it does on my laptop. That graphics card is recommended apparently :/ Cheers for the response though, still any good?

I'd need a link to the PC specs as I'm way too lazy to google them right now.

But basically, if they're better than your current laptop, then yes, it will at least run better.

If you're under budget, the 560Ti is great. Could even get a couple and plug them as SLI.

If you're running the specified Xeon's with a 560Ti (or two of them), the game will run just fine.
