Ammo crates

Do ammo crates spawn in the world? I found a one on a shore but it was empty. Does that mean a hacker has spawned it or they randomly spawn sometimes?

99% Sure it was hacker-spawned.

Thanks, yea it was between cherno and elektro shores, was a few actually as I was running a long the shore.

They can spawn at heli crash sites I think (at least, I saw one there). Full of stanag ammo.

They can spawn at helicopter crash sites, and in the barracks. They'll generally have a large amount of a few types of magazines.

If you see them anywhere else, they were spawned by a cheater.
