DE 397 Server Thread

Hi all

I´m the admin from DE 397. I would imagine our server to you. The server is located in Straßburg/France.

The server is powered by Leagues-United, which exist since 2005. We are a small group of friends and welcome new members and players every time.

Our Server is allways open for everybody and we don´t kick for friends and/or clanmembers.

Just remind that DayZ is still in alpha and server crashes and restarts may occur. We working hard on a stable environment for our server. The server will restart automatically after crashes.

Some details of the server:

• 8x Cores with 2.4GHz each (AMD Opteron 3280)
  
• 4 GB RAM for DayZ Server (16 GB Total RAM)
  
• 100MBit/s Deutsche Telekom, Level 3, Global Crossing, cogent, DE-CIX, interoute, and more
  
• 2x 2TB HDD 3.5" 7200rpm
  
• Fujitsu PRIMERGY MX130 S2
  
• Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 64bit
  

• 40 Slots
  
• Maxping = 225ms
  
• Difficulty = regular
  
• 3rdPersonView = On
  
• Crosshair = On
  
• Playernames = Off
  
• Ingame Voice = Off
  
• Map = Off
  
• Tracer = Off
  
• Automatic lobby idle kick = 300s (5 min.)
  
• OnlyASCii chars in Chat and Nick are allowed

• Timezone = GMT-2
  

• Always latest patches/updates for DayZ, ArmA, Hive, BEC and Battleye.
  
• Battleye Extended Controls (BEC)
  
• Automatic Restart every 6 hours (0,6,12,18,24 @ GMT-2)
  
• Ingame warnings 5 and 1 minute (with 5min. autolock) before restart.
  
• FloodLock = enabled
  
• DayZAntiHax
  
• Automatic scheduled script updater

Server4you.de Server :D ich weiß es ganz genau ich hab da auch meinen nur hab ich noch die XEON Variante die vor den Modellen war. :D

Und ich benutze Linux für meinen Server nicht diesen Windows scheiß :D ich mag Viren nämlich nicht

Bis vor 14 Tagen hatte ich auch noch Linux auf einem kleineren Root. Dann hab ich ein Upgrade gemacht und bin zwangsweise auf Windows umgestiegen. Und so unsicher wie manch einer denkt ist der Windows Server 2008 nicht ;)

Bin absolut zufrieden damit. Einziges Manko ist der Apache, da ich den IIS runter geschmissen habe. Der Apache ist echt lahm und ich weis auch warum. Aber das ist sehr aufwendig zu beheben (Neuinstallation).

Hast du denn deine Kiste auf Wine oder VMWare laufen? Ich hatte das Problem das die Treiber nicht wollten. Deswegen jetzt Windows.

Wie hast'n du die Erlaubnis für den Server bekommen?^^

Hab schon vor einigen Wochen 'ne Mail geschrieben, da ich den größten Hetzner-Server besitze und der nur rum-idled...

Hab nur Wine keine VM der startet direkt im Linux und Treiber hab ich nur die X3dAudio bla bla noch runtergeladen und in das Virtuelle Windows von Wine gepackt und dieses der bibliothek geadded als Native windows. Und halt diese VC2008 installiert.

Und mit Cron das ja bei Windows z.b. auch ned dabei ist meine ich zudem brauch Windows mehr ram ok bei 16GB kein ding, starte ich den Server halt immer brav neu.

@Setoy es gibt nen Shop da kannstes das kostenlos kaufen und musst dann warten ich such dir mal den Link.

Zudem vermisse ich meine Konsole.

Einfach apt-get install whatineed

Und selber Packete Compilen einfach purer Luxus.

Windows Prog runterladen installieren und man muss selber erst das Packet im Internet suchen ^^

Information:

We had small issues yesterday with the network connection. We tweaked our network settings and this takes a while to find the right ones.

It ends in a couple of restarts the whole server. Now this is fixed as server and connection are stable.

Stört mich aber nicht weil Linux ist ein System da musste halt vieles selber machen.

Information:

Yesterday the server lost connection to the network again for several times. We had problems after restart to join the server. So we had to restart it several times until it works properly. I think there is an issue with the netork settings This needs to be more analyzed and monitored.

We had installed Patch 95724 last night. Since this update we had a couple of server chrases over night, as my players told me, that we monitoring now to find the issue.

Edit: As the Bohemia dev´s reported, there will be a new patch coming today which will solve the issues. The chras occures when some weapons are used.

Edit II: We installed patch 95777 right now and it seems to be stable.

Dear players.

We are now at the latest patches 1.7.2.5/95883. It seems that we/you are not be able to safe items in tents and vehicles. Also the graphical glitches are still there. These issues come from the mod and has nothing todo with the server settings.

Sorry for that. We hope that there will be a hotfix within the next days.

We just installed the new beta. Server is back.

This will auto-lock the server for a short period if to many people join at the same time. If these people join in the game from the lobby the server get unlocked automatically.

Please let me know if you have issues with that.

Hi,

did you change anything in the server-settings? Because I'm unable to join the server. It says "version 1.62.102936" is required, but I'm not quite sure what that means, Battleye or DayZ or whatever. I can join all the other official servers, so I assume it has something to do with your server.

I experienced this problem before, shortly after patch 1.6, but after a day or so, I was able to join again to de397. But now I can't join for several days and I'm beginning to worry about the contents of my tent....

Can you tell me anything about this issue?
