Video Settings Advice

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I am trying to play DayZ on my laptop, I just can get smooth gameplay, I don't know if its either the lag from servers or lag from my HP laptop.

Specs:

AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200

AMD Turion™ II Dual Core Mobile M500 (2 CPUs), 2.2GHz

6GB RAM DDR3

Win7 x64

And I got plenty of HDD space.

Thanks.

Here are a few FPS optimisation guides that people (including myself) use to gain maximum fps. Unfortunately there is no guarantee you will be able to run at high FPS due to your GPU and processor, but you can try a few tweaks to boost it a bit.

Hope they help.

Today I tried fixing configs as it was said in one of the optimization tips (and some AA settings) and my fps dropped to 10 and mouse lagged severely. But after I deleted my config file all got cool. So strange.
