Got near a house, Zombie runs from 2 streets over and starts attacking me.I don't like crawling everywhere.Is this going to get fixed or what? Because every time i shoot at a zombie it either keeps hitting me after it dies and makes me bleed or my bullet goes out from behind it and doesnt hit it. At night it should be moderately harder to be detected and they should immediately see you when you shine a flash light on them.This is Alpha, so we got a long way to go. Askar 177 Posted July 29, 2012 I don't care if zombies aggro from far away, but only if I'm running about like a fool and they can clearly see me. They shouldn't be able to home in on me while I'm crouch-walking or crouch-running and they're a block away. Junos 57 Posted July 29, 2012 To me the issue is this: in 1.7.2.3, you could go into a building, shoot a few aggros, and be done. Usually less than 10 zombies total.In 1.7.2.4, you can do the same thing, but as soon as you fire a shot, the WHOLE HORDE comes and you end up with 30 on the floor. If you don't have enough ammo before you start, you're done for.Some might say that's a good thing. I know it used to be more like this. But if you're in a town and you have 30 zombies chasing you, and not enough ammo, it's going to be very hard to lose that many.My group just lost half our group tonight because, once aggro started, if one player got broken legs, it was literally impossible to kill the zombies fast enough to save the player before he was dead. Maybe people think that's how it should be. But I don't think it should be truly impossible to kill zombies and save a downed player.I'd rather have half as many aggro which are harder to kill.
