...Unless something is done about joining servers. Theres only so many times a 'player' is going to be willing to sit for an hour and wait to connect to a server, before they get bored and play something else.

Also, body temperature should not drop so quickly in rain. 10 degrees in just a couple of minutes is crazy.

Back to waiting for a server.

Remember: Waiting for servers keeps you warm.

I've been playing for almost a month now, and I have no problem with the wait. It is an issue that is being addressed, and since this is an alpha you should probably sit back and have a nice cup of tea. Or wait until it gets out of beta some time into the future.

If you wait for more than 15 mins to join a server, I would think it would be wise to dc and find a new one.

Maybe if you wouldn't try to join a server that is at 50/50, but one of the 20/50 and accept that any latency below 120 plays just fine, you will actually enter instantly :).

This is an alpha' date=' my friend.

Not even Beta, but still Alpha.

Think about what this means.

Last i checked, During alpha the core of the game was sorted out, before adding shiny new features that complicate issues. I know what alpha is. I know what a Beta is. It doesn't make the situation any different. Fact is the servers need work before introducing new features. If the system can't handle the load, it doesn't matter how well polished the rest of the game is.

Good to know the gaming community is still full of people so desperate to offer useful advice..

I've sat for 27 minutes now waiting on a server which had 10 players when i joined. Sometimes its fine, other times its unbelievable.

Yeah, the TX# servers never work for me. Had a little trouble with the Virginia# servers a few days ago. Found OHIO# to be nice and FR# if I need something foreign. If you're waiting for more than 10 minutes, pick a different server.
