Runicgol 1 Posted July 28, 2012 (edited) Hey, im a new player and i was wondering about when you are allowed to leave the game.Is it okay if i press abort after a fight or is there a certain time i have to wait before quitting the game?Recently i managed to kill a fully loaded guy with only a hatchet but am i allowed to abort afterwards? jetao2008@hotmail.com 175 Posted July 28, 2012 (edited) I think what everyone is trying to say to you is that you can leave the game whenever you like to, but it's considered unethical by the community to disconnect in the middle of a fight against other players to avoid being killed.The developers are trying to implement a game mechanic that will eventually punish you, if you behave like that a lot, and this matter will be treated as a rule, not just a matter of ethics anymore. So as long as the fight is finished im allowed to leave? If i get shot how long should i wait before im allowed to leave? Baelethal 102 Posted July 28, 2012 (edited) *sigh*If you get shot and get some cover, are you leaving to avoid a fight, or do you genuinely have to go at that very moment?Personally, I feel that since I got myself into that mess, I'd have to stay on server and get myself out, but perhaps I hold myself to higher standards.Ultimately, the choice is yours until someone comes up with a hard and fast ROE for people who can't seem to govern themselves and cheat death in a perma death game....So hard and fast, you can abort whenever.
