chaoseffect 18 Posted March 5, 2013 I don't understand why people talk about the hatchet like its bad. It's silent, common, and one shots zombies. jdz (DayZ) 238 Posted March 5, 2013 I was playing with a friend I regularly play with and we decided to start fresh on a new server. I spawned near Cherno and found a double barrel and he says "If you kill someone with that, I'll get you a new computer", at the time I was playing on a laptop that got 15-20 FPS average and just laughed the thought off. 2 minutes later I spot a player and set off for him, I take him down and head into Cherno where I hear M4 shots. I spot the guy and sneak up to him and take him out as well. This guy was a reasonably geared bandit, full toolkit and 2 M4s on him. We take his gear and get the hell out of town. We then headed to Stary where I spot another player and kill him with my M4 and do a quick loot but just as we are about to leave I spot another player on the hill. I flank around and take him out as well. That night he went through all of his old computer parts and put together a whole new computer for me, even a monitor! It arrived two weeks later and now I play on 60 FPS :DTL;DR - Double barrel kills scored me a new computer.
