Hi everyone,

I thought I would just give my thoughts on the various updates/fixes in 1.7.2.4 for DayZ [obviously]. I shall go by each update/fix.

[NEW] Respawn button is disabled during DayZ play: Personally, this doesn't affect me that much. I only used the respawn button to kill myself if the situation seemed necessary [NOT whilst in a firefight, mind you] or I wanted to get a better position on the map to group up with friends. Although, no respawn button shall save me from accidentally clicking it when I don't want to.

[NEW] Optimized authentication process on login: ​Merely a convenient feature for DayZ that I need not discuss, really.

[NEW] Singleplayer mode disabled when DayZ is loaded: I like singleplayer, because it helps my skills and map knowledge. But then again, this update doesn't exactly affect me because I have my own way around this. Heh.

[NEW] DayZ logo and Version Number appear in game when DayZ is loaded: No negatives to this; it saves time when trying to find out what version I am on. Good update.

[NEW] Hive now tracks login/logout [to assist in analysis for an ALT+F4 solution]: I know has been placed in with positive intentions. But, from what I interpret of the path that this is leading us to, this will have drawbacks for numerous people; sometimes I have to login and/or logout of servers multiple times due to my connection. And what about toilet breaks? Etc. But hey, as Selina Kyle would say... "I'm adaptable."

[FIXED] Infected cannot hear weapon firing (now they actually hear again)

[FIXED] Clothing no longer spawning (now it spawns as it used too)

[FIXED] Tents and items with ID's above 1 million don't synchronize (now it should synchronize, players to confirm): All of these, being fixes, are great. [by the way, "synchronize" was mispelt as "syncronize" in the changelog; no "h" was placed in where it should have been.]

[NEW] Respawn button is enabled if the player has a fracture: Splendid! I do understand the frustration that crawling with a broken bone gives to a player.

[FIXED] Players switched to non-player skins (by hackers) sync to database (updates no longer saved for objects non-authorized skins): Silly hackers.

[NEW] Players spawning in debug area or "water world" will spawn on beach on next login (with their gear):

Has only happened to me once, but 'tis great. I'm loving these retarded bug fixes.

[NEW] Client will automatically spawn player out of debug and waterworld to last known position:

Huzzah! Huzzah! I hate waterworld. Horrible movie, too.

[NEW] Radar removed from helicopter (UH1H will be added back to vehicle spawns): I'm glad that the radar is removed; we shall have to rely on our eyes more. Awesome.

In response to the helicopters being placed back in...

EAAAAH BUDDDY! I'm so hyped for these helicopters. It'll make my group's supermarket looting a whole lot more fun.

Also, it seems that with 1.7.2.4, the loading times are MUCH MUCH MUCH faster and stuff like that.
