ryan__mc__@hotmail.co.uk 131 Posted July 28, 2012 (edited) Just a question to everyone about a certain issue that I seem to be getting sometimes.Ok so have you ever alt tabbed out of the game in the middle of a field or somewhere else where there arent any zombie spawns remotely close to you for about 1 min or so but then you load back into the game and your dead or being eaten by zombies ? Senrain 148 Posted July 28, 2012 The only time this happened to me was when monkey zombies could still see you no matter how far away you were and they would literally fall behind by a few miles only to catch up to you when you have to ALT-TAB to eat dinner or something. Anyways if there arent any spawn points even remotely close to where I alt tabbed then why the hell are zombies munching me? I mean I can understand if a bandit was lucky enough to find me in the middle of a field whilst alt tabbed and then killed me ..but these are zombies and its as if theres some silly bug that causes zombies to spawn on people that are alt tabbed sometimes no matter where the do it.So problem not solved at all sir. Still laughed though when i came back to my half eaten character with 100 blood. I was in the hills between elektro and kamyshovo. Where they came from i do not know lol. My best guess was they heard/saw me at one point, and because i didnt leave the area, continued to investigate the scene. Oh look a bush with a backpack and an axe! Lets eat it ! ryan__mc__@hotmail.co.uk 131 Posted July 28, 2012 (edited) Infact ill give you an example of when it happened today ...Ok so i just killed 3 guys within 10 mins in one of those orange appartment building next to the hospital in chern...(Think they were mabie friends) Anyways I decided to go check the house I killed all 3 of them in to loot them and stuff and when I left the house after 2 mins of being in there another guy shot at me basicly as I set foot outside lol ..took me to 3k health but didnt kill me as I ran striaght back up into the building and instantlly bandaged myself and shot him as he came up the stairs ...now I need health fast so decide to go north and kill some animals ...I kill one and eat 3 of the cooked meat then instantly after I got a bluescreen and pc restarted ..Logged back in and started game back up and everything and loaded into server with egg timer (the very long one) Now there was not a zombie spawn in sight and as the timer takes ages I decied to watch youtube vid but when I loaded back into game ..you guessed it Im being munched by zombies and died as i only had like 5k health after the crash and before I alt tabbed :P Edited July 28, 2012 by Massicor Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Sooo, players.This was just one example ( todays infact ) of when I was munched whilst alt tabbed. I cant stress enough that there was no possible way lurking players or zombies got me killed as1. There was only 6 of us on the server (one that just connected before I got bluescreen + the 4 I killed like 5-10 mins before + Me)2. There was no deerstands or zombies close by3. I'd reccomend not Alt-Tabbing out of the game.Now thats more of a resonable answer m8 welldone ...but if theres no zombies or zombie spawns around then alt tabbing shouldnt matter as you should be safe ....unless ofc another player kills you or runs past with a trail of zombies that then attack you instead ..but in most cases thats never happened and especially todays example as there was 100 percent no chance another player was around as I killed 4 of them and the other one connected just before my bluescreen.
