I'm curious. How many of you sneak through towns compared to sprinting?

I've noticed it's a lot quicker to just sprint to wherever you're going, check for loot, and let the zombies wander off or lose them through buildings but that is a great way to get spotted very easily by another player. ZOMBIE TRAIN CHOOOoooOOO CHOOooOOOO! I personally try to sneak around, but always seem to get spotted 50m away when Im crouch walking so have to book it.

Before the update where zombies can see you very good and make sneaking much more harder, I'd constantly sneak past them, now I've developed a different attitude. If in the middle of town just run past them, into a building, and if having ammo to spare finish the zombies who followed me, or simply sneak out the back and continue on, doing the same to any other group of zombies to chase me.

I sneak through the small towns when i go in alone but otherwise if i have a group we just sprint in shoot the zombies, take the loot and get out. works very well cause its quicker and might scare off some people.

I only sneak in airfield, Or when im kitted out and in elektro or cherno, If I have standard gear (ak m1911) ill run like a mad man, The sneaking drives me insane. Zombie tails are so easy to loose now with LoS. Why waste time sneaking?

If i've started fresh in cherno/elektro it only takes 20 mins max sprinting to get kitted with alice ak m1911 blood bags morphine food and drink map/compas/watch/knife/hatchet/matches and be on my way.

Used to run, but after playing with 1.7.2.4 zombies can now hear shots again and pistols are nerfed, so getting rid of them takes more ammo and has a higher chance of attracting more. I'm now back to sneaking.

I generally do my best to avoid zombies. If I've just respawned, I run. I've started to find that I can begin to lose zombies, so I just run to places with good loot, hopefully losing the zombies on the way. Once I get a good collection of loot, some nice guns, that's when my trips are more careful. I generall slow move around or prone if I see zombies. I do my best then to draw as little attention to my self as possible.
