OMG! Trees/Grass!

I would like to suggest that the option to remove trees/grass be taken out. AYFKM??

I killed a guy in a Ghille suit; he was the lone clump of grass on a slope that looked like it had just burned.

Of course, he saw grass right around him, so I'm sure he thought he was hidden. NOT!

Makes a Ghille suit useless.

If a kid's computer can run the game, they shouldn't be playing.

Just another GREEDY mod by Rocket to up the player count, and I'd like to suggest that he get a life.

Now, now. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Not everyone can like the same thing. We are all different. His points are weak, though.

Remember, Rocket needs positive and negative support for this mod. :)

The amount of intelligence in the thread by OP alone makes it retarded.

It is actually the engine that makes it to where you don't render foliage that far. Rocket has no control over that. No matter your settings (all max, or all low) you will never render foliage (the grass) anywhere past 200m or so.

Also, there is no possible what to 'remove trees and grass' simply because they are always rendered. You cannot change this, and rocket cannot change this. The Ghili player was simply in a bad position and needs to learn how to properly hide.

Also, Rocker is not greedy. Rocket dose not make any money off of sales from ArmA. Also, he has a life, and his life includes making game play such as DayZ for people to enjoy.

If you did not enjoy this game, you can simply uninstall the game, and play Regular ArmA. I have no issues with you sharing opinions. But I have an issue with stating false statements without proper knowledge. Learn first, then make some educated rants.

urgh i think you dont know where to direct your anger.

but ye are right about ze view distance, something does need to be sorted with continuity between players on distance and rendering, tbh though you still stand out more with the standard clothing ye start wiith.

The render distance is engine sided I believe, and I do not know how much can be edited in terms of engine sided things (Like I don't know how far into the engine he can go).
