zippy32 1 Posted May 23, 2012 Having upgraded to the latest patch yesterday, I started playing on a random server yesterday (Virginia - but can't remember the number).When I used the map I noticed that I now had a player icon on it showing me exactly where I was and even the direction I was facing. (The same icon you get if you play a game of ARMA on the normal or easy settings)I've got a map, and a compass, but not a GPS (I have had a GPS in the past but even then it didn't put a player icon on the map).So is this a new feature of the patch? Or was it a bug? Or was it a setting which that particular server had?I'll see if it happens again on another server, but thought I'd also mention it here to see if anyone else has the same thing. I'd just never seen it before and it was the first game I played after the 1.5.8 update, so just checking it wasn't some new feature.
