Map Editor with update 1.7.2.4

I have been learning the map editor the last week and was having a blast with it until I updated to the latest 1.7.2.4 version with six launcher, and now, i can not access the single player mode and have access to the map editor which I was filming a DayZ short film with.Alright, I just have to launch the arma2 OA, and I still could not launch it.

I need help on how I can get back into it and still have the DayZ assets (zombies) so i can continue filming.

Do I have to revert back to 1.7.2.3?

Can I add a new @dayz folder with the 1.7.2.3 version and still be up to date with the latest so I can still play?

Or something completely different?

Basically I want the DayZ assets because I read in order to use the zombies, DayZ has to be loaded.

I understand Rocket has his reasons for this and it probably has to do with hacking, but I really need some help here.

You have to disable @DayZ on the "Extensions" menu on the main menu. And yes, DayZ now breaks SP for security reasons.

Figured it out!

, I did press "ctrl e" but did not have the zombies nor any unit assets to add, it came up blank.

Made a new @dayz 1.7.2.3 folder and disabled @dayz for the time being until I want to play. I am back at where I was yesterday for my film.
