Locking the time on the server

I have found a way to lock the server to day time. It cycles between 0800 and 0805. So far I haven't noticed it breaking anything, is there anything I should know about that this would affect?

STOP FUCKING AROUND, WHY WOULD YOU EVEN WANT THIS!?

Last time people were doing this is caused loads of Hive problems.
